We hold our beginners and advanced classes separately, so students can progress at a natural pace.

Last November my grandson Sam passed his Black Belt grading. He started as a shy 5 year old & in 6 years matured into a confident young man. He was taken every step of the way by the expert coaching & training of Mr. James Kessler the Principle Instructor & his fellow instructors. He was also helped and encouraged by the senior Black Belts in the group who along with the instructors are wonderful role models for youngsters. Taekwondo is much more than a sport, it's a way of life.

We take our kids to train with Neil Morris at the Coalbrookdale classes on a tuesday and saturday. We looked into joining because they were going to a Tae Kwon Do class in our local village hall which was stopped. We were all made to feel very welcome by Mr Morris and the people that help in his class. Our two children thoroughly enjoy themselves and have gained so much in confidence. Their co-ordination has improved massively aswell especially our daughters. At her old class she was very withdrawn and very little confidence in her ability to do what was asked whereas no she has a go and even if shes not got it quite right she keeps trying until she does with the support of her instructor. We have also been to the shrewsbury class a couple of times when we havent been able to make the Coalbrookdale classes and they enjoy it there as well. No complaints from us as we have nothing but praise for the classes our children do and our youngest cant wait until he is old enough and can take part!

Since starting Taekwon-Do, William has become more confident and is able to speak out more. After his 3rd week he got to do his grading and passed to get his new belt. He was overjoyed to have passed and is happy he has found something he loves and is good at. Mr Kessler is an amazing teacher who expects his students to be polite and well behaved...this being the main reason why we chose universal martial arts. We wanted something that would have a positive effect on Williams behaviour and confidence. TKD and universal martial arts has done just that.

My son Luke has been doing Taekwon-do since September with Mr Morris as his instructor at Chelmarsh and absolutely loves it, and now after enjoying watching him learning and itching to have a go myself I have decided to join the class myself in January 2014 and can't wait to get started and share this journey with my young son.

Taekwon-Do is great exercise and it's good that my children can both enjoy something together despite their differences in age and sporting ability. My daughter particularly enjoys the variety of activities in the sessions which includes self defence techniques, pattern exercises, sparring and warm-up routines.
