Our adult students really appreciate the differences between Martial Arts training and standard exercise programmes.
Many have tried gym memberships, only to end up paying for gym time they just were just not using. Our classes are designed to ensure you make progress with each and every class. Progress which can be measured by the attainment of new belts which reflect your new skills!

When was the last time you tried anything fun? Come to one of our classes and a whole new world will open up for you. No previous experience or athleticism is needed, just an open mind and a desire to learn.
You will make new friends and develop new skill sets. Progression in the Martial Arts usually comes in small steps. Unlike other forms of physical activity, Taekwon-Do training has a mental and sometimes even spiritual aspect which improves your mind's focus and self-control. Emotions such as anger and fear are better controlled through training.

Taekwon-Do Training will help you become more balanced and coordinated while developing all aspects of physical fitness. Remember no prior experience or athleticism required. Everyone must start somewhere, so come as you are and enjoy the training and fun workouts. After a few weeks you will see your flexibility and stamina increase with each class.
Reason #4: Self-Defence
Knowing how to defend yourself and protect your loved ones is just as important today as it was hundreds of years ago. This is probably the most important benefit of training in the Martial Arts. We will teach you techniques that works in the real world, and are designed for a smaller person to defend themselves against a much larger opponent. You will learn a myriad of concepts and defences for different situations. Remember that minimising injury and escaping the bad guy to return home safely is considered victory in the real world.

Taekwon-Do is more than a self-defence system. It makes one confident to face any situation. Anyone who familiarises themselves with the art, can actually develop virtues like patience, discipline and respect towards others. Our goal isn’t necessarily to see our students competing against a world-class fighter. We would much rather establish the right foundation in life for all our students, by instilling discipline and self-confidence.
Self confidence comes from your confidence in your own abilities.
Our lessons have been developed to ensure techniques are broken down and explained at the right level of complexity. This will allow students to understand the fundamentals of each move in just a short period of time.
