Our Martial Arts style is ITF Taekwon-Do, which is the original martial art style as laid down by the founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi, 9th DAN. We have also incorporated the best techniques from Ju-Jitsu, Judo, Boxing, and Kick Boxing .
This blending of styles and techniques creates a well-balanced self-defence system avoiding many of the fine motor movement techniques that are made useless under Adrenal Stress and incorporating techniques with less moves and greater impact.
This gives our students the advantage they need to protect themselves.
Original ITF Taekwon-Do

Utilising skills & techniques developed over 2000 years, our style of traditional Taekwon-Do is based on the original style developed by Choi Hong Hi 9th DAN.

The International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) was founded on March 22nd 1966 by General Choi Hong Hi to promote and encourage the growth of genuine Taekwon-Do.
Consisting of over 3,500 techniques, Taekwon-Do teaches the student to employ the hands and feet as tools of personal protection.
ITF Taekwon-Do teaches scientific principles - allowing the students to develop tremendous power with minimum effort. Thus allowing a small person to defend themselves against a larger, stronger aggressor.
Applied Taekwon-Do
Teaching Martial Arts the way they were originally intended to be taught.
Our Chief Instructor, Mr. James Kessler, 5th DAN is a known proponent of the practical use of the traditional Taekwon-Do techniques. You will learn why the techniques are performed the way they are, and how you can make them work in a real self defence situation. We have developed exercises & drills to allow you to explore this exciting area of martial arts safely & enjoyably.
Life Skills

Martial Arts are more than just the effective use of attacking & defensive techniques, true martial arts also enrich the spirit, calm the ego and create a strong sense of morality that will benefit the student, their friends & family for the rest of their lives.
